Viplav (Vijay Deverakonda) is an employee of BSNL and the son of an atheist father, Lenin Sathyam. He is tired of living in the same city since birth and decides to get a transfer to Kashmir, hoping to enjoy the peace and nature. One day, Viplav meets Aradhya (Samantha Ruth Prabhu), a Kashmiri girl who is trying to get to a temple to pray for her brother, Feroz, who is missing. Viplav helps her reach the temple, and in the process, he also saves her and Feroz from a group of Kashmiri Muslims who are trying to attack them.

Aradhya and Viplav fall in love, but she decides to go back to Pakistan without confessing her love. Viplav catches up to her at the railway station, where he comes to know her true identity, Chadarangam Aaradhya. He also learns that their fathers are bitter rivals.

Viplav and Aradhya are determined to be together, despite the obstacles in their way. They must overcome their religious and cultural differences, as well as the political tensions between India and Pakistan.
