StoryLine:

In 1968, Pastor Chuck Smith of Southern California struggles to connect with the younger, free-spirited generation of hippies, and his church begins to suffer. His daughter Janette gives a ride to a hitchhiking hippie named Lonnie Frisbee, who introduces Smith to his mission of spreading the Ministry of Jesus. Smith eventually warms up to Frisbee and invites other hippies into his home, including the band Love Song, leading to a successful movement to evangelize hippies and others.Jesus Revolution 2023 Movie Download.

Meanwhile, high school student Greg Laurie runs away from his Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps class and attends a Janis Joplin concert with a girl named Cathe, where Timothy Leary promotes drug use for self-discovery. However, Greg sees the danger in drugs when Cathe’s sister falls ill from an overdose. Cathe and Greg’s friendship ends when she accuses him of not caring about drug safety.

Cathe discovers Smith and Frisbee’s ministry while listening to Lonnie preach, and she and Greg reconcile. Despite opposition from Cathe’s conservative parents, they find comfort in the ministry, which gains popularity as the “Jesus Revolution” or “Jesus freaks” and even earns a Time magazine cover. However, Lonnie departs for Florida due to disagreements with Smith. Greg takes over a ministry branch in Riverside, eventually marrying Cathe and becoming a famous pastor. Smith and Frisbee are remembered as founders of the Calvary Chapel movement and leaders in the Jesus movement.
