Mi Hee was an ordinary housewife, married to police detective Chul Joong and having a son. Suddenly, her husband died and her son went missing at their house. As a result, Mi Hee was imprisoned for the past 25 years. She is now under house arrest back to the home where everything took place. The movie is about a woman who is imprisoned for 25 years because of the death of her husband and the disappearance of her son. When she is released she goes back to the house where everything happened to find out the truth about that night.

The twists and turns at the end really enhanced the movie experience for me, and it also affected my ratings a lot. It’s not the most mind-blowing twists out there, but they’re still good. Some parts are quite predictable, while others came as a surprise to me.

Story is simple. Husband is dead and son is missing. Wife and mother is claimed guilty and send to the prison. After 25 years she came back to house where tragedy happened and tries to find her son, who she thinks was caught by mysterious being hiding in basement.

You have no idea, if she’s crazy, if she really kills her husband and what actually happened to her son…
Film, even though it’s a horror, for me is a family drama, which shows how powerful is mother’s love. You can feel her pain and desperation. It’s really sad story with lots of plot twists and unexpected turns. For example, I needed to watch last scenes twice to fully understand it. Acting was really good, even young actors.
