A web series titled Shaaticup was released on popular Bangla OTT platform Chorki on Thursday.Young filmmaker Toukir Shaik, who studied filmmaking at the Asian School of Media Studies Delhi, talked about his experience of directing the web series.Shaaticup Season 1 Download.

‘We have created a narco-thriller web-series which is set in Rajshahi. The cast and crew members hail from Rajshahi. Also, the word Shaaticup is a colloquial word used in Rajshahi which means lying in wait for someone,’ he said.The story of the web series revolves around the narcotics trade near the border areas. The webseries stars 137 people, namely, Omar Masum, Amit Rudra, Ahsabul yeamin Riyad, Nazmus Sakib, Shah Asif Ahmed, Wasikul Islam Romit, Sazia Khanam and Galib Sardar.Hannan and Joynal plan to invade drug lord Sohel’s monopoly kingdom. Sohel assigns Uttam, the most influential Investigation Officer in the area, to capture Hannan and Joynal. Several complex moves come one after another in this SnakeLudo game. Who will win this game? Drug lord, new traders, cunning officer, or anyone beyond imagination?
