StoryLine:

A widowed farmer named Henry and his son Wyatt take in Curry, live on a average farm. Henry discovers a lost horse with blood on the saddle. Henry goes to investigates and find a near dead man and a cash loot. He brings him back to save his life. Three riders come to the farm in search of the man and loot. These three riders are outlaws pretending to be the law. Henry does not give up the stranger (who is also an outlaw in disguise) and combats these riders and their horde. Henry son unknowingly resents his father for not allowing to help. Henry goes out with his pistol and kills all of the outlaw riders.Old Henry 2021 Full Movie Download

The stranger tells Henry’s son right before he betrays Henry who is helping the stranger back to bed that he is in fact Billy the Kid. The stranger shoots Henry and Henry’s son, shoots and kills the stranger. The son buries his father, Henry aka Billy the kid and leaves the farm as instructed by his father before he dies.On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, which categorizes reviews only as positive or negative, 96% of 51 reviews are positive, with an average rating of 7.6/10. The website’s critical consensus reads, “Led by a reliably solid performance from Tim Blake Nelson, Old Henry serves up a supple cut of vintage western rawhide.”

Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 69 out of 100 based on 18 critics, indicating “generally favorable reviews.”The film’s plot and execution received generally positive reviews. From TheWrap, Steve Pond said he wished parts of the film were “more expansive” but overall described it as a “beautiful elegy” with a finale that feels “just right.”^[10] Writing for The Hollywood Reporter, David Rooney described the direction of the film as a “well-crafted exercise in old-fashioned but durable genre tropes” that later “evolves into a satisfying reflection on the more complicated, somber realities behind the icons of the Wild West.”^[11] In a negative review, The Guardian‘s Xan Brooks found it to be too familiar to other Westerns and expressed his disbelief on why the film was screened at the Venice Film Festival.Furthermore, Tim Blake Nelson’s performance as the title character received praise.
