As mentioned previously, Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind is set many years on from Battle Of The Realms. A suddenly not dead Kano returns and sets out to take over Earthrealm with the aid of Black Dragon mercenaries like Kabal and Kira. After Kensei refuses to bow down to them, he’s left blinded and is later trained by an older Sub-Zero – who fought Scorpion in many MK movies – to seek his vengeance and save Earthrealm while he’s doing it.
A solid release date for Snow Blind has yet to be announced, though the IGN piece confirmed it would arrive later in 2022. That said, it appears Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind will be released to tie in with the 30th anniversary of the original arcade game, which debuted on October 8th, 1992. That makes a release date for the animated outing during this time extremely likely.
