As a thriller that revolves around a dysfunctional marriage, and is based on a Nordic noir novel, you can expect a more realistic approach in this fictional work.The characters are well defined and are more convincing than in most thrillers we have seen on Netflix. It has a distinct Nordic trait, which comes across as more sincere and natural in its portrayal of the characters. Is it novel? In a way it is, considering the platform it is being streamed on.
