This actually turned out to be a pretty good character study on female relationships and the fallout from a teen suicide attempt. Honestly it kinda feels like an after school special in some ways, which makes the exploitation section so fucking jarring. I kinda wish they leaned completely into the character stuff or the exploitation/torture angle, as it is it just feels uneven albeit in a very engaging way. Makes for a one of a kind unforgettable experience though!
