Etharkkum Thunindhavan (transl. Daredevil for Anything), also known under the initialism ET, is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language vigilante action thriller film written and directed by Pandiraj and produced by Sun Pictures. The film stars Suriya, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and Vinay Rai.[3] The music is composed by D. Imman, with cinematography and editing being handled by R. Rathnavelu and Ruben respectively. The project was officially announced during October 2020, under the tentative title Suriya 40. It also marked the production’s first venture with Suriya, as the company had previously distributed the actor’s films Ayan (2009) and Singam (2010). Filming began on 15 February 2021 and was completed within mid-November, despite losing out three months of filming due to the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions. It was primarliy shot at various locations in Chennai, Madurai, Karaikudi and Courtallam, with a song sequence being shot in Goa.The film released in theaters worldwide on 10 March 2022, along with dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. The film received mixed to negative reviews from critics, praising the performances of Rai and Suriya,while there was criticism aimed at the story, editing, and the climax. However, the film received positive reviews from the audience.This film’s story revolves around Kannabiran who happily lives with his family. He falls in love with Aadhini and later two of them get married. Trouble arises when two girls were killed by Inba’s henchman. The third girl we’re also to be killed by the henchman but Kannabiran comes to the rescue and fights them. After a series of investigations he comes to know that Inba is the real person behind this. Inba warns him that he will threaten a lot of girls by uploading videos of them which shows series of girls getting killed, undressed and raped by him and his henchman’s. How does Kannabiran overcome these situations and how he finishes Inba and his gang forms the rest of the story.
