StoryLine:

The movie begins with a girl named Fei Fei being told the legend of the moon goddess who took a potion for immortality and waits for her lover the archer on the moon with only Jade Rabbit for company (“On the Moon Above”). 4 years later, Fei Fei is a bright and scientific young woman still helping in her family’s shop who still believes in Chang’e. Fei Fei is upset when she finds her father with a new woman he appears to be dating, Mrs. Zhong. Fei Fei meets and is annoyed by Mrs. Zhong’s energetic son, Chin.Fei Fei designs a rocket that resembles a Chinese paper lantern in the shape of a rabbit that uses fireworks to boost her speed.
