Akaash has a steady relationship with his phone, Imon shares a special bond with dance, Riya is serious about her thoughts (and hand cream?), and Vicky is enamoured of his laptop. Even Akaash’s roommate/ friend Swarajit has a long-standing relationship — with bananas (he has been chomping them down since 2009, when Cross Connection released)! And when the four main characters are not obsessing over their primary partners, Akaash pesters Imon to marry him, Imon hurls abuses at Akaash, Riya nags Vicky about having a baby and Vicky…phew, he’s just tired. No connection found? Precisely! Imon dances whenever and wherever she feels like, and the ever busy Vicky still takes Imon to coffee shops. Even Jams (Neel Mukherjee) and Didi (Rupanjana) seem to be perennially on ‘flight mode’ — they are always on their way to the airport! Reason behind the rewind? Unreachable.
