Ok-ju and Min-hee were best friends, and Ok-ju had promised to protect her at all costs. However, one day, Min-hee is found dead, and Ok-ju is devastated. She discovers that Min-hee was forced into slavery by Choi Pro’s sex trafficking ring, and that she had been blackmailed into a situation that death seemed like the only viable escape from.Ok-ju is consumed by guilt and rage. She vows to avenge Min-hee’s death and bring Choi Pro and his ring to justice. She uses her skills as a bodyguard to track down Choi Pro and his associates, and she takes them down one by one.

Along the way, Ok-ju uncovers a dark and twisted world of corruption and violence. She also learns more about her own past and the trauma that she has been carrying with her.
