The teaser for Indraadip Dasgupta’s next ‘Agantuk’ is out now and it gives a sneak peek into the plot that deals with the helplessness of the elderly persons in our society. Although the subject is nothing new the story has a centain twist. Starring Sohini Sarkar and Abir Chatterjee in the lead, we can see Sohini in an aged look, as visuals from a flashback haunts us.Going by the teaser, it’s clear aged Shobharani Basu (Sohini) lives alone in her house, with children living abroad.Agantuk 2022 Full Movie Download

However, she is well in control of the situation and her tenants don’t like her authority. They conspire with a group of promoters who are keen to see the old lady out of the property.Interestingly, the visuals from the flash back show Abir Chatterjee and Sohini innocent love story and eventual marriage. What happens to Abir’s character is wrapped in a mystery, but it seems he’s not dead as the last scene in the teaser shows shadow of a stranger who looks like him.The teaser also shows Shobharani getting killed, perhaps by those who want her property. However, the twist lies with the stranger building a mysterious plot connected with the murder.Beside Abir and Sohini, the cast also includes some of the popular character artists from the industry such as Sujan Mukhopadhyay, Mousumi, Sidhu, Devlina Kumar, Daminee Benny Basu and Debapratim Dasgupta in key roles.The central conflict of the film rests upon the identity of the man and the family’s struggle to determine it. Sudhindra subjects the visitor to various tests, such as looking at his passport. However, the visitor embarrasses Sudhindra and later his friend Rakshit by his ability to read minds. In a final attempt to establish the truth, Sudhindra invites a lawyer friend to gently question the guest. This is when the visitor reveals his deep knowledge, rich experiences and profound views of life, impressing Anila and Sudhindra. However, things turn ugly as the lawyer’s frustration builds up until he orders the guest to “either come clean or just clear out”.
